This pressure-mounted gate is a good option for areas that get a lot of traffic to where you don't have a free hand to close the gate behind you. The gate requires not tools for installation and will simply unmount and can be set aside for convenience if not in use. A locking button in the hinge of the gate allows the user to keep the swing-gate portion open if they need the gate to lock behind them every time they go through it.
This gate is not recommended to be mounted at the top of stairs as the mounting bar on the bottom of the gate can become a tripping hazard.
