The Stairway Swing Gate | North States Model 4630

The Stairway Swing Gate utilizes a hardware mounted design for added strength and stability. It will span an area from 28" to 42" wide and stands 30" tall.

It can be used to secure staircases (top or bottom), doorways and narrow hallways. The "swing gate" feature on this gate allows for the entire gate to swing open in either direction.

A childproof latch can easily be opened with one hand by adults. When used to secure a staircase a stopper can be set in place to control the opening direction.

All the necessary hardware and mounting brackets are included. Available in natural only.

Use with children: This gate has been certified by the Juvenile Products Manufacturer's Association for use with small children. It can be used to secure doorways and halls; however, it is specifically designed for use at the top or bottom of a staircase.

Use with pets: This gate is tall enough and sufficiently sturdy for use with small to medium sized dog breeds. Large dogs and energetic jumpers may require a taller gate.
