Use with children:

This gate has been certified by the JPMA Juvenile Products Manufacturer's Association for use with small children. It is suitable for securing doorways and walkways. As with all pressure mounted gates it is NOT recommended for use at the top of a staircase.

Use with pets:

This pressure mounted gate can be used with small to large sized dog breeds. 2 1/4" bar spacings restrict smaller pets from passing through the slats.
